Beginning in October 2009, as part of Information Technology Service’s commitment to improving protection for our users, computers, servers, and infrastructure, we will deploy a new product from Cisco called Clean Access. This important security system ensures that computers attaching to our network are appropriately protected.

Prepare for Clean Access

To make sure your computer will pass the Clean Access requirements, please perform the following validation checks before the Clean Access Rollout date.

Validation Checks:

• Windows Automatic Updates  (Mandatory)
• Enabling Windows Automatic Updates (Mandatory) 
• AntiVirus Software Installed (Mandatory)
