Prairie View A&M University associate professor Dr. Robert Kirschten was awarded best screenplay at the 2009 Red Wasp Film Festival for his work "Hotel School." His original screenplay is based on two stepbrothers who envy one another and are competing to inherit a chain of hotels.

The Prairie View A & M University National Alumni Association (NAA) recently relaunched its website www.pvualumni.org with updated features and a new look. The organization added new technologies and enhanced the sites security to allow increased access, management of information and easier navigation, for its growing membership.
