Prairie View A&M University's College of Nursing is listed in a system wide contract that includes the continued use of wind power, a form of renewable energy. This week, The Texas A&M University System signed a two-year electric utility contract with Champion Energy Services for 2012 and 2013 that will result in savings to the system of approximately $4 million over the period.

WASHINGTON - The Obama Administration recently announced the individuals who will serve on the Texas Farm Service Agency State Committee. Wesley Ratcliff, a 1963 graduate of PVAMU, along with other State Committee members will oversee the activities of the agency, including carrying out the state agricultural conservation programs, resolving appeals from the agriculture community and helping to keep producers informed about FSA programs.
